Geprags Park – Natural Gas Pipeline – Request for Public Comment
The Select Board is soliciting public comment until June 17th on the following documents related to the proposed natural gas pipeline crossing of Geprags Park. (Note: comments may still be accepted following this date)

Hinesburg’s 4th of July Celebration –  Happy Birthday America!
Sunday 7/03 – 6 p.m.
Annual Hilly Hobble Foot Race – Registration starts at 6 p.m. in front of HCS. Cost $5 adults & $3 children. All proceeds benefit Hinesburg Fireworks.
  • 10k starts at bottom of Buck Hill Road West at 6:30 p.m.
  • 5k starts at 7 p.m.
  • 2k Kid’s Run starts in front of Good Times Café at 7:10 p.m.
  • All runners finish at Veteran’s Park

  • Monday 7/04 – Festivities begin at 9 a.m.
  • Book Sale in Town Hall
  • Historical Society Display
  • Silent Auction under the yellow and white striped tent, Town Hall
  • Chasing 440 to perform at Veteran's Park
  • Ice Cream Social in front of the Mason's Building sponsored by the Community Alliance Church

  • 4th of July Parade – Begins at 11 a.m.
  • Grand Marshal is Paul Emmons
  • Theme for 2016 Parade is “Happy Days”
  • Parade line-up at the bottom of Buck Hill Road West begins at 10 a.m.
  • Judging is at 10:30 a.m.
  • Prizes awarded in 10 categories!
  • Parade begins at 11 a.m. and travels north through the village, turning on Mechanicsville Road, finishing at post office
  • NEW this year is a beer garden provided by the Hinesburgh Public House located in their parking lot from 12-4 p.m.
  • Fireworks at dusk – about 9:30 p.m. behind HCS

    Wastewater Allocation Moratorium Extension for 30 Days
    The Select Board adopted a change to Section 4.C of the Wastewater Capacity Allocation Ordinance at their April 4th, 2016 meeting. This change is an extension of the prior moratorium by 30 days and prohibits new wastewater allocations for a period expiring July 6, 2016.
