The day's efforts are organized by community volunteer, Phil Pouech, with participation from families and individuals, town employees and many school, business and civic groups. Volunteers of all ages collect roadside trash into hundreds of bags, and fill the town dump trucks with tires, scrap metal and other debris. All over town, trees, shrubs and plants are planted and watered, fertilized and mulched. A barbeque is held to reward volunteers and has become a tradition over the past several years. By nightfall, all of the volunteers are physically tired but filled with a strong sense of satisfaction and community spirit.			Town of Hinesburg Founded 1762
