Approved March meeting minutes.  

Completed Town Map Revisions

Noticed how many organizations are listed in the section of the Town Plan – Conservation Commission, Town Forest Management Committee, Laplatte Headwaters Town Forest Committee.

Will get changes to Alex on 4/14.

Recreation Fields/Facilities update. 

Mike spoke to Jean Isham – Planning Commission

Land on Gilman Rd. is mentioned as a possible location for fields and recreation space.

Need to pursue town owned land.

Plan to attend next Planning Commission meeting on 5/12 at 7:00 pm

Mike aims to attend PC meeting on 4/14 at 7:00 pm to speak / listen.

Carrie reports that she attended the Lot 1 at Creekside meeting.

Brought former ideas when charged with “Dream and Draw” – kiddie park, gazebo, picnic area, Town Green, restroom facilities, water, etc. 

Request for quarterly updates from Town Committees and Commissions

July 4th Update

Kiddie Carnival – Tarah Miller will organize this year as a benefit for a 2 year old fighting cancer. 

Shannon Emmons offer to assist.

Theme is “Heroes Among Us”  

Grand Marshal - ??  Tom can confirm for next meeting.

Spring Sport and Field Update

Smaller numbers for Tee Ball this year.

Increasing program fees to create a $5000 increase in Rec. budget may be impact numbers. 

Next Recreation Commission meeting is 6/8/10.
