Hinesburg Schools
Hinesburg Community School (HCS) Hinesburg has a combined Elementary School (Grades K-6) and Middle School (Grades 7-8) in the village on Route 116. The building complex, which incorporates the original high school, was extensively renovated and expanded in the fall of 1998. Champlain Valley Union High School (CVUHS) Hinesburg students in Grades 9-12 attend Champlain Valley Union High School, which is located on CVU Rd. in Hinesburg northeast of the village. C.V.U.H.S. also serves Shelburne, Charlotte, Williston and St. George and is one of the state's larger high schools, well regarded for its innovative curriculum and quality resources. Chitttenden South Supervisory Union Chittenden South Supervisory Union (offices in Shelburne) serves the towns of Hinesburg, Williston, Charlotte and Shelburne. It includes HCS and CVUHS.
