NOTICE – Public Meeting
The Hinesburg Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at Hinesburg Town Hall on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 and Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. to receive public comment on proposed changes to the Town Plan, adopted in 1971, as amended June 13, 2005.

The purpose of these changes is to make updates to reflect new information as well as goals and objectives accomplished and new vision formulated in the last 5 years. The changes represent an update rather than a complete re-working of the Plan; however, these changes are necessary to ensure the Plan adequately addresses the community’s vision for Hinesburg’s future. The geographic areas include all of Hinesburg.

Important Notes:
–Section 9 – Implementation – this section (especially top 10 priorities) to be revised pending public feedback at 4/28 meeting and 5/26 public hearing.

–Maps – updates still in process as noted in table of contents section; 2 new maps proposed – “Official Map” (Map 12) and “Trail Network Vision: Existing Routes and Gaps” (Map 13). The trail network vision map is still in production and will be presented by Trails Committee at PC public hearing.
